Did you join us for our very first #BWEchat Twitter Party a few weeks ago? It was a virtual event where we chatted about the BlogWorld New York event, answered questions, and give away passes to the event!

Well, we thought it was a great success and had such fun interacting with everyone live – we decided to turn it into an ongoing Twitter chat, and our next #BWEchat is this Wednesday. After that, they will be hosting the chats every other week – same time, same place.

What: #BWEchat Twitter Party
When: Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 8:00 PM EST
Where: Twitter!

Twitter parties (also called Twitter chats) are held online, with virtual attendees all following the same hashtag (in this case, #BWEchat). You can follow through Twitter’s main website or a desktop client like Tweetdeck, but they move really quickly, so I recommend using a site like Tweet Grid or Tweet Chat to follow along.

Who: Attendees, speakers, track leaders, BlogWorld staff, and anyone interested in learning more about the conference and meeting others who might be attending or have attended in the past. The chat host will be @nikki_blogworld so make sure you follow this account!

Topic: (NOTE: The topic has changed) This week we’re going to talk about the benefits of attending conferences. If you’ve ever been to one, share your tips! If you haven’t been, learn more and ask questions before buying a pass to LA. Either way, join us!
