I admit to being overwhelmed with Twitter sometimes. On my personal account I follow over 1500 people, which means things can very easily get lost in the shuffle.
Enter Summify. Last Wednesday they launched a new version of their product – which delivers the top five news stories based on what your friends have shared and liked via your social media accounts.
When you sign up you connect to Google Reader, Twitter accounts, and your Facebook profile (or any combination of these). The Summify algorithm then calculates the top 5 stories and emails the list to you directly. The simple layout clearly shows the titles, what friends shared the story on Twitter, and how many friends liked it on Facebook.
You can change the amount of stories, and the frequency, within the site.
