Yesterday we talked about the different reasons folks want to speak at BlogWorld. Today, I thought it might be fun to follow up by exploring some of the reasons folks like to attend BlogWorld as well. As you might guess, folks come to attend for a wide variety of reasons.
Is it to learn from the best?
At BlogWorld “The Best” are in abundance. They’re giving talks, sitting on panels and chatting with attendees in the hallways. They’re signing books and hosting other conference-related events. Whether you’re looking to learn more about blogging, earning a living through blogging or how to use social media to build your brand, you have no choice but to learn from the top experts in their niches at BlogWorld.
Is it to meet people?
You may come to BlogWorld alone, but you’ll soon notice you’re not lonely. Everyone is friendly and everyone is willing to share and discuss blogging and social media tips. In fact, I think I spend more time in the hallways than anywhere else. It may sound corny, but at BlogWorld, everyone is happy to meet you.
Is it to find out about new products, apps or services
Here’s something to consider: at the first BlogWorld I learned about this new microblogging fad called Twitter.
The trade show at BlogWorld features a look at all the tools bloggers need to succeed – and even some fun stuff. The vendors on the trade floor pay good money to reach the blog/social media community and without them there would be no BlogWorld, so do be sure to stop by and check out what they have to offer.
Is it to party?
BlogWorld has parties too. From intimate dinners with friends, to big, loud, yell to hear yourself over the din club parties, the nightlife at BlogWorld doesn’t disappoint. Plus, Dude, this year BlogWorld is at the Mandalay Bay. Night clubs, restaurants, pubs and slot machines…what more could you ask for?
Is it to have a good excuse to go to Vegas?
BlogWorld is the best excuse ever.
Why do YOU come to BlogWorld?
Tell us why you come to BlogWorld. We know everyone has a different reason and we’re very interested in your story. Drop a comment below and share your stories from past BlogWorld or let us know if you’re a BlogWorld virgin. What do you hope to takeaway?

It’s a combination of the above except maybe the excuse to go to Las Vegas.. 😀 This year will be my first. I think of BWE as THE blogging conference. I have been to many of the mom blogging conferences so I’m really looking forward to expanding my horizons and learning from many others and meeting bloggers in all areas of blogging. For me, the learning is great, but the connections that I make the conferences really worth my time. I enjoy matching people to twitter faces and getting to know people better.
Bring it on! Have read about BlogWorld in the past but plan to attend this year and am looking forward to it already. Can’t wait to meet and learn.
