YOU ARE IN THE HALLWAY.
You are standing on a metal grate that stretches out ahead of you as far as you can see. The hallway is illuminated by millions and millions of little white LEDs in the floor underneath the grate. The LEDs are flickering on and off like the output of a 1960's era computer. They are on enough to provide a reasonable amount of light, but the random flickering gives the effect of a fluorescent bulb that needs to be replaced. The walls are black steel with large rivets. Pipes and large bundles of cable are hanging from the ceiling. There is a door on either side of the hallway here. On the right side there is a large, formal looking oak double door with brass handles. Above the door there is a carved wooden sign which reads HISTORY in block letters. On the left side there is a small black door with a plastic sign on it that reads "Networking Closet." There is a low humming sound coming from behind the door.
