"He put this together initially as a personal weblog/journal. A place to rant publicly. There is a little more information about that in the networking closet in the hallway. Anyway, he happened on that domain name and decided that he shouldn't just build a place for his own thoughts, but a world full of places built by others as well. He posted this content in order to share the general idea with some friends and get his personal space started. Right now he's off somewhere writing code so that YOU can create your own rooms in this space with your own thoughts and ideas.
